We are seeking:

We are seeking a structured, experienced, and creative senior mechanical engineers, with a passion for challenges and technology. You will be involved in all phases of Carbon Circles projects, from early project initiation throughout to EPC completion and final delivery of plants and products. You like interacting with all disciplines, and you possess excellent communication skills (oral & written); you understand people, you respect people, and you are a strong believer in transparency and openness. You respect our high standards of ethics, and you enjoy working in integrated teams where the tempo will be high in periods. You are not afraid of making decisions, and you enable things to happen in power of your strong drive for progress. You are structured, proactive, pragmatic and solution focused. Experience from worldwide energy sector, preferably with experience in technical follow-up of mechanical procurement packages. Knowledge to packaged solutions like glycol/methanol regeneration, compressor packages, combustion systems, mechanical conveyors & feeders etc. is a plus.

As a senior mechanical engineer at Carbon Circle you will report to the SVP Engineering. You will participate in mechanical design of our projects, including being responsible for technical follow up of key suppliers of packaged solutions/systems and standalone components.

You will have high level of flexibility in your role and work with multiple internal and external teams, comprising the following areas of work;

• Responsible for establishing technical RFQ of mechanical packages and equipment
• Be responsible for technical follow-up of mechanical packages from purchase order placement until mechanical completion and handover/acceptance of product
• Participate in FAT and similar
• Perform technical studies
• Participate in sourcing and qualification of suppliers and strategic partners
• Participate in procurement processes

Professional Background

• MSc / BSc within Mechanical Engineering
• 10 years of experience with package engineering and follow-up
• Fluent English & Norwegian (oral & written)
• Excellent user skills in computer software
